A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has surpassed one million drug-prevention booklets news euromillions distributed in just one month. The initiative forms part of the international Truth About Drugs education programme, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their impact on health and society.
Approximately five hundred volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
